CGA ensures hospitality sounds great for everyone!

Wokingham Town Hall, with its elegant Grade II listed Victorian cross-beamed main hall is a stunning venue for special occasion events, offering rooms that cater for small intimate weddings or larger more formal occasions.

CGA have been appointed to refurbish the sound systems at the venue to ensure they can deliver great sounding music and events for all their guests, including those who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

CGA is installing a new digital sound processor, Auracast transmission capability and radio microphones.

Installing Auracast further improves accessibility for people with hearing loss. Auracast replaces hearing loops and is the preferred path that the RNID is recommending for all hearing aids, bluetooth earphones and mobile phones.  It’s a feature of the latest version of Bluetooth, allowing high quality audio to be broadcast by one device and picked up by many other devices, without needing to go through a pairing process.

An Auracast broadcast can be picked up by an Auracast receiver such as earbuds, headphones and hearing aids. The wide range of Auracast receivers make Auracast useful for everyone, whether or not they have any form of hearing loss and helps everyone to fully experience a special occasion or event.

For more information on Auracast please visit the RNID website or speak to CGA about how we can make your venue even more accessible for all of your guests.
