CGA are delighted to have been working with Dishoom once again, this time on their original restaurant in Covent Garden.
Dishoom Covent Garden began the Dishoom story in 2010 and this year has undergone a major redesign to mark its 10th anniversary. The new restaurant has reopened at its old home on Upper St Martin’s Lane. The café pays loving homage to the Irani cafés of Bombay, whilst also telling the story of Bombay’s theatrical journey from Parsi theatre to silent film and the thrill and amazement of the Talkies era.
Sadly, plans for the soft launch, which was due to begin in mid-November, were paused in light of the latest coronavirus restrictions. However, the soft launch for ‘New’ Dishoom Covent Garden began on 5th December and will run through to 20th January.
CGA Integration began working with Dishoom in 2015 when they designed and installed the audio for their third restaurant, Dishoom King’s Cross. Since then, further Dishoom sites have opened across London and beyond and all now feature a CGA Integration designed and installed audio system.
