“I have been involved with sound from an early age; from rigging and manning the sound desk for school productions, to working as a Mobile DJ and singing with my local church choir. When I left school I worked with nightclub installation companies and for an acoustic company delivering sound to theatres, nightclubs and international artists on tour.
I have been lucky enough to work with some inspirational colleagues who love to share and teach. As such I have been able to accumulate a huge range of knowledge, experience and understanding of fundamental principles which I can apply in my everyday system design.
When I started CGA there were too many poor sound companies putting black boxes on white walls which just made noise, not a musical sound to enhance an environment.
At CGA we strive to deliver great sound, installing systems which are easy to use and which blend visually with the environment we design them for.”

“I have been involved in the Audio Visual industry all my life and have experience working across areas from hospitality through to large infrastructure projects such as airports and stadiums.
I have specialised in the application of digital audio systems over the past 20 years, working for multinational manufacturers, consultants and independently, and I am considered to be one of Europe’s foremost authorities on large scale projects, speaking at international exhibitions and conferences.
My international project experience is backed up by front line experience of the music industry where I have worked as a front line sound system engineer for touring bands. I have also been an executive committee member of the Professional Sound and Lighting Association, the main industry trade body, and sat on the drafting committee for BS7827:2011, (Code of practice for designing, specifying, maintaining and operating emergency sound systems at sports venues).”
