Outline
Dorchester Collection’s portfolio has been extended once more with the addition of 45 Park Lane. This acclaimed 45 bedroom hotel, features Bar 45 and the first venture in Europe for Michelin Star chef Wolfgang Puck; CUT at 45 Park Lane. Following their landmark project at Coworth Park, CGA Integration were first choice for audio design and installation throughout all public areas, including the crucial atmosphere in CUT at 45 Park Lane.
Challenges
The challenges facing the audio design and zoning reflect a vital balance between the audio brief for CUT at 45 Park Lane and Bar 45, whilst ensuring regulatory integration to fire alarm systems and minimisation of noise bleed into non separated areas. Multizone integration is also required to ensure flexibility for functions and corporate clients. The personal soundtrack chosen by chef founder Wolfgang Puck for CUT at 45 Park Lane features a diverse range of music which demands a system with full dynamic range and headroom to deliver a powerful ambience in a high ceiling venue.
Technical
Features pioneered by CGA Integration and now standard for ensuring reliability, quality and control, stem from a centralised rack featuring multiple zone permutations. With audio levels and bleed very sensitive to the venue, the system and control system were chosen with great care. It also supports remote monitoring to ensure maximum up time to reduce site visits. The system brain is an N8000 EV dovetailed to EV CPS amplifiers and fed to EVID 8.2 high ceiling or standard variant speakers
