The award winning Congham Hall is a privately owned Georgian Manor set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. The spa is located within the hotel’s extensive gardens and draws its inspiration and treatments from the famous Congham Hall herb garden. As part of an extensive refurbishment by new owners, CGA Integration was appointed to deliver a quality sound system throughout the spa and treatment rooms utilising the partial wiring installed but not completed by a previous contractor

Challenges

The wiring of the spa had been started by another contractor but had been left unfinished and undocumented. CGA Integration were asked to use their experience and in-depth electrical knowledge to trace cabling and identify products which would complement the spa and generate a quality sound system, whilst still working with the existing partly installed wiring to minimise additional building or decorative work.

Technical

CGA opted to install a sound system based on a Cloud Electronics distribution system which enables the spa management to have centrally controlled music sources, which were created by Music Concierge. With this system, each treatment room can choose, select and adjust the volume of its own music locally using a wall plate. CGA Integration installed EV S40 in room speakers, which offer a smooth response with soft dome tweeters for easy / fatigue free listening. In the reception area EV in wall speakers were used in the ceiling as voids were limited.
